In preparation for Botswana 2026, Marcy spent 15 days riding in Idaho, British Columbia (Canada) and Washington state. She rode over 550 miles (880 kilometers) and climbed more than 20,000 feet (6,100 meters) through the northern Rocky Mountains on the Selkirk Splendor, the Hiawatha Trail and the Coeur d’Alene trail.
